After graduating with a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons.) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1972 and a postgraduate degree from the University of Hawaii in 1975, Mr. Hau obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from the University of London in 1986 and PCLL from The University of Hong Kong in 1987. Before joining the legal profession, he was an economic researcher of the Bank of America and later a lecturer teaching of economics at The University of Hong Kong. Alfred worked as an Associate Solicitor for the Hong Kong branch of a city firm for a couple of years before becoming a founding partner of our firm in 1992. Mr. Hau continue his legal practice and has become our firm consultant since 2020. He deals mainly with commercial agreements, dispute among shareholders, transfer of business or shares and litigation matters.
