In addition to obtaining her Bachelor of Laws degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong, Phyllis received a Higher Diploma in PRC Law from the China University of Political Science and Law in 1994. She first became a solicitor for Chu & Lau in 1990 and then for W. I. Cheung & Co. in 1992 and became a consultant there. She joined Hau, Lau, Li & Yeung in 2002. Her major practice is in corporate and commercial matters and civil litigation.
