K.Y. worked in the medical profession as a Therapeutic Radiographer before commencing his legal career in 1987, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and then a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. K.Y. served several posts ranging from Articled Clerk to Consultant in Messrs. William Sin and So, Solicitors and Notaries, before joining Hau, Lau, Li and Yeung in May 1994 as a Partner.
