Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hong Kong in 1970, then held several corporate administrative positions before switching to the legal profession. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and a Postgraduate Certificate of Laws from the University of Hong Kong in 1987. Andrew was an Articled Clerk and then Associate Solicitor for Messrs. Shaw and Ng, Solicitors and Notaries before becoming a founding partner of Hau, Lau, Li and Yeung in 1992. In 1997, Andrew qualified as a Bachelor of Laws from the China University of Political Science and Law . Andrew is also a Notary Public in Hong Kong.
